Rutgers Joins Big Ten Conference

Rutgers officially became the 14^th member of the Big Ten Conference yesterday, as the university accepted an invitation to join the conference. Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany says the move just makes sense for both parties. It is not yet known when the Scarlet Knights will begin competing in the Big Ten. Maryland announced Monday that it will begin Big Ten play in the 2014-2015 academic year.

Turnpike Encourages Safe Travel

More than 2 and a half million drivers will be traveling on the Pennsylvania Turnpike over the Thanksgiving holiday. The next couple of days are the busiest time of the year on the state’s turnpike system. CATA Holiday Schedule

CATA will not operate tomorrow on the Thanksgiving holiday. Partial service will resume on Friday and full service resumes Saturday. CATA offices will be closed on Thanksgiving day and the downtown sales office will be closed both Thursday and Friday.
