FERGUSON TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS

The Ferguson Township Supervisors will hold a regularly scheduled meeting tonight at 7 pm. Officials likely will approve an ordinance amending the Code Administration Joint Articles of Agreement and an ordinance altering sidewalk obstruction regulations. Supervisors will also consider supporting a state bill granting local law enforcement the ability to use electronic radar similar to state police. As always, the public is encouraged to attend. 


STATE COLLEGE ROADWORK 

Short delays are possible at the intersection of North Atherton Street and Hillcrest Avenue in State College through Wednesday evening. Crews are repairing traffic signals at the intersection between 7 am and 5 pm. Lane and sidewalk restrictions will be in place.

STATE COLLEGE COUNCILMEETING 

The State College Borough Council is expected to approve the 2015-2019 Capital Improvement Plan tonight at its regularly scheduled meeting. Council reviewed the plan and received public input over the last few weeks. Tonight’s meeting is at 7:30 at the downtown municipal building. Council is also expected to accept the 2014-15 CATA operation budget contribution.


SUNDAY POWER OUTAGE 

A loose fuse caused a brief power outage yesterday morning in the College Heights neighborhood of State College. According to Statecollege.com, 133 West Penn Power customers were affected. Crews did not know what caused the problem.
