Penn State Student Killed in Pittsburgh
A 22-year-old Penn State student is dead after being hit by a car early Saturday morning in Pittsburgh. According to The Daily Collegian, Cody Barrasse was pronounced dead at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Sunday just more than 26-hours after the accident. The Moosic, PA-native died as a result of injuries from accident, which occurred on the 3800 block of Bates Street in Oakland.
Penn State Student-Athletes Fight Bullying
Penn State Athletes Take Action will host an after school event at Mount Nittany Middle School on Friday to help end bullying in schools. According to a release, approximately 2.7 million students in the United State are bullied at school each year. Penn State athletes from various teams will use games and activities to interact with middle school students to curb bullying. The event will run from 3:30 until 5:45 p.m.
