Strengths

·         Smooth athlete who’s got a fluid running motion

·         Quick first step

·         Very smart, dependable defensive QB

·         High field awareness

·         Quick to diagnose and full the hole

·         Patient, doesn’t bite on play fakes

·         Gets defense into proper alignment

·         Good tackler

·         Has a very good feel for zone coverage

·         Works well through trash and keeps his legs free

·         Plays bigger than his size

Weaknesses

·         Narrow frame and under weight

·         Not a hammer, doesn’t arrive with force

·         Doesn’t have elite speed or athleticism

·         Not explosive

·         Can get overpowered by larger blockers

Analysis:

Mosley is an instinctive linebacker who is almost the complete package. He lacks elite strength and speed but he moves well in space and is always around the ball. If Mosely is over drafted he will be considered a bust because he will never be a Patrick Willis type game changer. But he can quarterback your defense and excel with talent around him. He’s a good player but he can’t carry a defense.
