Analysis:

Demarcus Lawrence is the type of player who jumps off the tape. He’s got the skills to be an immediate impact player as a pass rusher at the next level. His short area quickness, body control and ability to bend the edge are all elite. He’s most likely to fit as a rush linebacker in a 3-4 scheme but could be a right defensive end in a 4-3 if he adds a couple pounds. The most concerning thing about Lawrence is his thin lower body. He doesn’t generate a lot of power or pop from his base. The bottom line is that in a pass-happy league, Lawrence will be in high demand come draft day.
