Overview

This is not a very deep area in the draft. The top players, Jackson, Su'a-Filo and Yankey have some serious warts. Su'a-Filo is a very controversial prospect due to his poor body composition and lack of experience. His ceiling is very high but it will take some time to get there. He's second on my list on effort and potential alone. Marcus Martin is a big wide bodied center who plays too finesse to be a dominant, complete player right now.

Center of Attention

John Urschle knows what it’s like to be the center of attention. His intelligence and football talent made him a fan favorite at Penn State. At the next level he'll benefit from being the man in the middle of everything. By that I mean making the switch to center. At center he can use his intelligence, football smarts and quickness to stabilize the middle of a team’s offensive line. As I say in his scouting profile, think Jeff Saturday when you think of John Urschle. He will benefit from talent around him but he will definitely play at the next level.
