Analysis:

Lots of hype surrounds Ha’Sean Clinton-Dix out of Alabama. He’s a good athlete with good size speed and aggression. However he’s not really great at anything. He lacks lower body explosion and is thin through his lower half. He also tries to go for the big hit too many times instead of wrapping up and tackling. He needs to improve his consistency and use proper form in his back pedal. Has the size and good athleticism to cover tight ends. He’ll be a dependable starter at the next level but I question whether or not he’ll be a pro-bowler. Not worth the top half of the first round buzz that he’s getting.
