Strengths

·         Great size, physical

·         Beats press well

·         Tough to bring down when he gets the ball in his hands

·         Huge hands

Weaknesses

·         Not fast

·         Runs high and doesn’t sink his hips to get into breaks in routes

·         Doesn’t really separate from DBs

·         Doesn’t show any explosion or COD

·         Hands are okay, not great

·         Lets the ball get into his chest, body catcher

·         His game lacks sophistication

·         Should have stayed in school, needs to work on his game

·         Leaping ability isn’t great

 

Analysis:

 

Benjamin has great size and is a physical player but he should have stayed in school. He doesn’t run crisp routes and he has stiff hips. His hands are inconsistent and he doesn’t create separation. The biggest thing is that he could have spent two more years catching passes from Jamis Winston at Florida State. He could have used that time to learn the position as well. Benjamin is a developmental prospect with great height and bulk. He can make a living early on as a redzone target but between the 20’s he’s going to struggle.
