Analysis:

Marcus Roberson has a lot of talent that he has yet to truly realize. He’s got solid athleticism to couple with a very good frame that has room to grow. He needs to improve his overall strength, lower body explosion and speed. One of the more promising cornerback prospects in this draft, Roberson’s tape failed to live up to expectations coming out of high school. He’s got stiff hips and doesn’t have the elite measurable you’d like to see. He’s also inconsistent and like his counterpart at Florida, Purifoy, he’s not great against the run, in press man situations and his football instincts are questionable. He’ll require molding at the next level.
